Experienced Care and Support Workers Required
EMPLOYER: CAREMARK (Cork South), 21a Penrose Wharf, Cork.
JOB TITLE: Care and Support Worker
JOB DESCRIPTION: Care and Support Workers are invited to apply for positions on a panel of employees who will be available to provide Home Care and Support to service users who wish to remain in their own homes regardless of age, disability, illness or situation.
Permanent/Part time hours are available.
EDUCATION: FETAC Level 5 or equivalent in Care of the Elderly/Child Care/Social Care or other relevant area is desirable. Excellent standard of English is required with effective verbal and written communication skills.
EXPERIENCE: Previous Care and Support Experience is an advantage but full traning will be provided. Previous Garda Vetting and Manual Handling Certificateds to be supplied where available.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Access to a car, or car owner with full driving licence.
PAY RATE: €10 per hour.
LOCATION: Variable in and around Cork City, suburbs and county.
HOURS OF WORK: Flexible day hours, overnights and weekends.
